Pastoral Services
Chaplain Services
To help with the healing process, Spencer Hospital partners with area chaplains to provide services to patients and their loved ones. At your request, your nurse will contact your own minister, rabbi or other spiritual care practitioner. If you do not have a designated spiritual practitioner and need someone to talk to or pray with, our volunteer chaplains are ready to help. You may get in touch with a chaplain by asking any nurse who is caring for you or contacting the hospital operator.
Chapel
For spiritual care, Spencer Hospital partners with area ministers to provide chaplaincy services to patients and their loved ones. A chapel area is available for quiet reflection. Our chapel is located on the second floor of the Hospital adjacent to Elevator B. The chapel is open 24 hours a day for those who need some quiet time for reflection or prayer. The chapel is an interfaith space, open to diverse faiths and cultures.
