Clay County Community Provider LINC Event
(Local Initiative for Networking & Collaboration)
Where: Spencer City Council Chambers - 101 W 5th St. Spencer, IA 51301
When: 9 - 11 AM
Who: Open to Healthcare Providers, Addiction Recovery Professionals, Community Organizations (anyone who serves or provides resources for individuals/families in the areas of brain health and/or addiction recovery). If you actively look for and refer to resources for consumers, you have a seat at the table.
Why: Providers are invited to this quarterly networking and collaboration event to learn about and discuss current resources in Clay County. This event will start with resource presentations and end with discussion and networking. As you are listening, be thinking — how can we collaborate and work together to fill gaps or overcome barriers? Do you have a resource that you could share? All ideas are welcome.

- January 11 - Focus Topic: Criminal Justice
- April 11 - Focus Topic: Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- July 11 - Focus Topic: Iowa's Behavioral Health System
- October 10 - Focus Topic: Social Determinants of Health & Scenarios
Call for Presenters: Do you provide resources in one or more of the topic areas above? Please email jill.barr@spencerhospital.org to be added to the presentation list for those specific meetings. There are many organizations that have expertise in multiple areas; you are able to present at multiple meetings.
