Abben Golf Classic
The Abben Cancer Center Golf Classic has provided wonderful support to the cancer center for many years. Dollars raised during the annual tournament are specifically used to support our patients and their families by providing transportation assistance to those who qualify, educational resources and personal care items, and support of state-of-the-art technology.
Annually, Abben Cancer Center treats approximately 500 patients from across Northwest Iowa and Southern Minnesota. Statistically, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.

Join us for a four-person best shot event at the gorgeous 18-hole Emerald Hills Golf Club at Arnolds Park! Golf with cart, lunch, dinner, snacks, gifts, opportunities for prizes, plus wonderful camaraderie with those gathered for a fun day and to raise funds to support patients who undergo cancer treatment at Abben Cancer Center of Spencer Hospital. Registration is $125/golfer or $500 for a foursome.

Platinum Sponsor - $2,000
This sponsorship would receive distinctive, repetitive and optimal brand recognition on indicating the Platinum level commitment, recognition in all event marketing materials, and registration for a foursome; including complimentary green fees, lunch, dinner and gift.
Gold Sponsor - $1,000
This sponsorship would receive repetitive brand recognition in all event marketing materials, a banner displayed in a prominent location indicating the Gold level commitment, and registration for a twosome; including complimentary green fees, lunch, dinner and gift.
Silver Sponsor - $800
This sponsorship would receive repetitive brand recognition in all event marketing materials, registration for a foursome; including complimentary green fees, lunch, dinner and gift, and personalized signage, with recognition as a Silver level sponsor, on one hole on the course.
Bronze Sponsor - $300
This sponsorship would receive repetitive brand recognition in all event marketing materials and individual personalized signage, with recognition as a Bronze level sponsor, on one hole on the course.
Garden of Life
Each year we pause to remember those we dearly miss.
Our fond memories live on as a tribute to the impact they had on our lives.
Since 1985, family members have turned to Hospice of Spencer Hospital for professional, compassionate guidance and assistance in coping with the loss of their loved one. The Garden of Life campaign wishes to highlight those services, yet is open to all community members to join us in remembering a loved one regardless or hospice utilization.
Your donation will be symbolized by a flower to be planted in a special area of Spencer Hospital’s Grand Avenue Park. A seasonal marker will also be displayed listing your gift and intention. As a donor to this event, you will receive an invitation to personally plant your flower during a special ceremony to be held in late spring.
