Responsibilities:

  • On the job training
  • Provides accountability for food service provided during the shift
  • Is required to make independent decisions concerning emergency situations
  • Responsible for providing high quality food and food service to internal and external customers in a safe and sanitary manner using cost effective measures
  • Short order cooking for staff, patients, and visitor meal

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Must have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude and be a team player
  • Willing to learn and work all areas of the kitchen and cafeteria 

Schedule:

  • 80 hours a pay period
  • 8 hour shifts are scheduled between 5a-7:30p (5a-1:30p and 11a-7:30p)
  • 5 days per week
  • Must be able to work every other weekend
  • The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
