Responsibilities:
- On the job training
- Provides accountability for food service provided during the shift
- Is required to make independent decisions concerning emergency situations
- Responsible for providing high quality food and food service to internal and external customers in a safe and sanitary manner using cost effective measures
- Short order cooking for staff, patients, and visitor meal
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Must have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude and be a team player
- Willing to learn and work all areas of the kitchen and cafeteria
Schedule:
- 80 hours a pay period
- 8 hour shifts are scheduled between 5a-7:30p (5a-1:30p and 11a-7:30p)
- 5 days per week
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
